Healthcare

General Medical camp

We are committed to bringing quality healthcare closer to communities in need. As part of this mission, we regularly organize General Medical Camps in underserved and rural areas sponsored by National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC)

These camps provide free access to essential healthcare services, including:
  • Basic health check-ups (blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, Dental etc.)
  • Consultations with qualified doctors across general medicine and allied specialties
  • Distribution of free medicines as prescribed
  • Awareness sessions on preventive healthcare, hygiene, nutrition, and lifestyle-related diseases

The camps ensure that people who often lack access to hospitals or clinics receive timely medical attention. Special focus is given to vulnerable groups such as children, women, and the elderly.

Through these initiatives, we aim not only to treat immediate health concerns but also to create awareness, promote healthy practices, and encourage early detection of common illnesses.

By organizing such medical camps, we strive to reduce healthcare disparities and extend a helping hand to those who need it the most.

Special Cancer Screening & Awareness Camps

A woman’s health is the strength of her family and her community. Yet many women ignore their own health while caring for others. At In Banyan Roof, we believe that every woman deserves care, protection, and the chance to live a healthy life.

Our Special Cancer Screening & Awareness Camps are designed to give women that chance. These camps provide not only medical check-ups and screenings for breast, cervical, and oral cancers, but also create a safe space where women can learn, ask questions, and take charge of their health. These camps were organized in Banaras and Siddrathnagar in state of Uttar Pradesh.

Through early detection, awareness, and guidance, we aim to remove the fear around cancer and replace it with hope, strength, and confidence. Because cancer caught early can be treated—and every life saved is a family protected.

These camps were sponsored by EDCIL India under CSR activities and Jointly implemented by NBCFDC and BR Foundation.

Screening of sickle cell in 3 states

Sickle Cell Anemia is a serious genetic blood disorder that affects thousands of people in India, especially in tribal and rural communities. Many families are not even aware that they carry the sickle cell trait until it is too late.

To address this, BR Foundation is conducting Free Sickle Cell Anemia Screening Camps in Odisha, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh.

Through these camps, we provide:

  • Free testing with reliable rapid kits
  • Counseling for families on managing and preventing sickle cell disease
  • Awareness sessions on symptoms, treatment options, and lifestyle care
  • Guidance for carriers to prevent future health risks

Our goal is to ensure early detection, spread awareness, and reduce the suffering caused by this silent disorder. By reaching out to remote villages and tribal belts, we hope to protect the next generation from the challenges of sickle cell anemia.

Because healthy communities begin with awareness and timely care.

This project was sponsored by ECGC under the CSR activities and jointly implemented by NBCFDC and BR Foundation.

Free distribution supportive aids for PWDs

At BR Foundation , we believe that everyone deserves the right to live with dignity and independence. For many Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), simple supportive aids can make a life-changing difference — helping them move freely, communicate better, and take part in daily activities with confidence.

Through our initiative, we organize Free Distribution Camps where supportive aids such as:

  • Wheelchairs and crutches
  • Hearing aids
  • Walking sticks and calipers
  • Other mobility and assistive devices

are provided to those in need, completely free of cost.

These aids not only support physical needs but also open doors to education, employment, and social inclusion. For many beneficiaries, it is the first step toward leading a more independent and empowered life.

Our mission is simple — to remove barriers, uplift lives, and ensure that no one is left behind because of a disability. Because when opportunities are equal, abilities shine brighter than disabilities.
